ADT, Europe’s leading provider of electronic fire and security solutions, has equipped the newly opened Olympic Casino Sunrise in the Warsaw Hilton Hotel with a state of the art digital video management system.
Olympic Casino Sunrise, part of the Estonian Olympic Entertainment Group, is the largest and most modern casino in Poland. Built at a cost of 27 million Zloty (PLN), it is situated on three floors, covering an area of 1,600 square metres in total, and offers gaming possibilities at 20 tables and 100 slot machines.
ADT has installed its Intellex® Ultra digital video management system, a reliable and highly efficient system for monitored closed circuit television (CCTV) surveillance. The system captures higher resolution, de-interlaced images without compromising the capability to record full motion video. It can simultaneously record, play back, and archive images, text, and sound.
Intellex® Ultra allows fast access to video recordings of any event. Hours of material can be quickly filtered using the Smart Search function, which finds events that match specific criteria. With one mouse click, it is possible to view all incidents involving motion. By defining the motion dynamics to search for, it is also possible to find specific incidents based on speed, direction, and the size of the moving object. Using these features, Intellex® Ultra can trace when lights are turned on or off, the unexpected appearance of people, the activation of an alarm, and the movement of people or vehicles in the wrong place or moving at a greater than expected speed.
Fast-turning SpeedDome® Ultra 8 cameras have also been installed in the casino. They provide up to 420x total zoom and can compensate for the differences between very bright or dark portions of the same location without losing clarity of the image. In addition, the cameras offer advanced control and positioning features.
The investment will cost about half a million Zloty (PLN). ADT will also provide electronic protection for six further casinos that the Olympic Casino Group will be opening in Poland.
