The F. Tomé Group, which specialises in the sale and maintenance of new and used vehicles, has chosen ADT, Europe’s leading provider of electronic fire and security solutions, to protect its network of dealerships and work centres in Madrid and the towns of Ajalvir and San Fernando de Henares (Guadalajara) in Spain. Each dealership and work centre will be equipped with a sophisticated security system composed of closed circuit television (CCTV), perimeter detectors and anti-intruder systems.

With the aim of monitoring what happens at the F. Tomé Group’s premises, each centre and dealership will be equipped with a video surveillance system. These will include 30 fixed cameras and six mini-dome cameras that will be installed at strategic points, such as warehouses, access points or vehicle display areas. All of the cameras will be operated by ADT’s Intellex® digital video management system which enables the simultaneous display of images while continuing to record. Thanks to Intellex®’s advanced image management features (such as an intelligent search function for defined incidents, programmable alarms, filters, etc.) F.Tomé managers will be able to use the system to help supervise operations, prevent safety risks in the workplace and detect incidents.

As well as the video surveillance systems, ADT will be installing perimeter detectors that will be connected to anti-intruder alarms. All of the security systems will be connected to the F.Tomé Control Centre, allowing local security management, and this, in turn, will be connected to ADT Spain’s Alarm Receiving Centre.
