ADT Fire & Security, Europe’s leading provider of electronic security and fire protection solutions, has been selected by Media Saturn to provide preventive maintenance services at a number of Media Markt stores. These services will be undertaken by ADT Fire & Security’s after-sales operation, to provide technical assistance and 24 hour maintenance services. Service quality is assured by the department’s team of qualified technicians specialising in the range of technologies and solutions the company provides.

The services being provided to Media Markt include scheduled and emergency maintenance of the Intellex video surveillance system, as well as the access control and emergency evacuation, intruder and fire detection systems (Minerva MX /Zettler ZX technology). These solutions had already been designed and installed by ADT Fire & Security within the last 4 to 5 years since the first store that opened in 2004

Even the best equipment deteriorates if it is not efficiently maintained, and the swift and frequent servicing of security and fire systems ensures they continue to operate perfectly (an overstatement) and fulfil the purpose they were designed for.

“Our maintenance services have been designed according to Media Markt’s specific needs. This service also ensures that Media Markt stores comply with security systems legislation currently in force. This allows us to ensure that the systems are always fully operational and making sure that the investments in security are protected”, says João Ribeiro, Managing Director of ADT Fire & Security.

According to Media Markt, “The decision to contract maintenance from ADT Fire & Security was based on the technical quality and capability of its team. The contract includes 24-hour service, 365 days a year, an excellent response time, preventive maintenance and software updates, which are all fundamental to our business, to ensure business continuity.”

Media Markt’s has been in partnership with ADT Fire & Security since 2004 when it implemented for the first time security solutions for Media Markt at its Benfica Football Stadium store.
