ADT Fire Detection Systems - Durham Hospital Case Study

New Solutions For Fire Protection

Haden Young awarded ADT the contract to install a fire system for a major private and Government-funded project in Durham, UK. The system was installed at the new 450-bed hospital and comprised ADT's own Minerva MX addressable fire detection system with 15 networked panels, air sampling and an extinguishing system. 

All products were installed to meet the EN54 standard in fire safety.

An analogue addressable system was chosen for its prompt response to alarm activation and the level of service and maintenance required.

We have subsequently also been awarded a 10 year contract for maintenance of the fire detection system, by Haden Building Management, as part of the Government-funded development.
